Teak is a hardwood grown primarily in Asian countries like Indonesia. Its natural oils make it resistant to climate, and unlike other types of wood there is very little maintenance involved. Much of the teak furniture on the market is meant for outdoors, however indoor teak furniture is popular also. It does not require oiling, waxing, polishing or refinishing.
